Evidences of God’s Grace: January-March 2026

On a weekly basis in our Sunday program, we share evidences of God’s grace and work in the life of Crosspoint and our community.  Below, are the evidences (January-March 2026) collected into one post. May these lead us to an attitude of thankfulness to and worship of our God who is at work, not only through us, but in us.  You can read past evidences here.

It is always an evidence of God’s grace to read of how God’s people are talking to their Father in Heaven in prayer, confessing their dependence upon Him and asking Him to move and work in their lives.  Here are some prayer requests shared recently on connection cards: “Freedom for those in Christ to be bold to share the gospel.”  “Pray for our family’s journey with Christ.”  “Boldness to take faith-filled steps.” “Humility and wisdom with finances.”  May our God who is able be at work in these lives, and in the household of faith at Crosspoint.

Today on this Pledge Sunday, we rejoice in the evidences of His faithfulness over the 22.5 years as a church.  His faithful love endures forever, and we are witnesses to His mighty works from generation to generation.  He is trustworthy in all seasons and at all times, and we can trust an unknown future to our known God, for He knows us and calls us His own.  May we, a people for his possession, proclaim His praises in all of life.

3/15

We rejoice at Crosspointers, Ethan and Natalie Moser, who recently went public with their faith in Christ through baptism.  What a joy to see siblings in Christ seeking to obey all that Jesus taught (Matthew 28:18-20), and publicly testifying to His goodness and grace in their lives!  Praise God, for His Good News continues to change lives!

“Can I pray for you?”  When brothers and sisters in Christ speak these words to another person, and then proceed to pray, it is an evidence of His grace.  From Sunday morning gatherings, to the workplace, to community groups, to all of life…praise God for how the Spirit-empowered witnesses of Jesus are intentional in praying with and for others.

We rejoice at Crosspointer, Grace Van Scyoc, who recently went public with her faith in Christ through baptism.  What a joy to see siblings in Christ seeking to obey all that Jesus taught (Matthew 28:18-20), and publicly testifying to His goodness and grace in their lives!  Praise God, for His Good News continues to change lives!

2/22

How encouraging to see over 50 Crosspointers engage in our recent Living 3D class, ‘Good Eats: Discovering Grace, Community and Mission around the Table.’  In the year ahead, may the people of God be intentional in gathering with others around tables, whether it be to deepen fellowship with other believers or to live on mission toward those yet to respond to His grace.

2/15

Praise God for the stories of Crosspointers who are fleeing temptation and sin, and turning toward our God of life and light, and strengthening fellowship with His people. For brothers and sisters in Christ living out truth such as 2 Timothy 2:22, Flee from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.  And Proverbs 4:14-15, Keep off the path of the wicked; don’t proceed on the way of evil ones. Avoid it; don’t travel on it. Turn away from it, and pass it by.

Heard this from a Crosspointer recently, “I was dealing with some things today, but I’m glad I still managed to come.”  They were speaking of how they chose to still gather on a Sunday morning despite having much on their mind and heart.  Praise God for how He is enabling His people to live out Hebrews 10:24-25, And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.

Praise God for how His people are seeking to worship the Lord well in all life, including in the workplace.  It is encouraging to hear stories of fellow Spirit-empowered witnesses who are living out their faith during the ‘9-5’ for His glory!  Colossians 3:17 and 23, And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people,

1/25

Praise God for marriages in all seasons and stages, who seek godly counsel and help.  From pre-married’s, to those in the early years, to those who have been married 25+ years.  From those seeking to overcome sin and restore brokenness in light of the gospel, to those who just need a little boost to get unstuck from apathy or wrong patterns. Praise God for how His people walk in the light of our God and experience His mercy and grace in our time of need.

You know what is fun?  Seeing Crosspointers give away good study Bibles to people who are desiring to grow in their knowledge of the Lord and His Word! In our Bibles and books area of the foyer, we have several free disciplemaking resources available, including CSB study Bibles.  Praise God for how these are going out the door and into the hands of people desiring to grow in the Lord, alongside other believers.

We rejoice at Crosspointer, Gabe Heider, who recently went public with his faith in Christ through baptism.  What a joy to see siblings in Christ seeking to obey all that Jesus taught (Matthew 28:18-20), and publicly testifying to His goodness and grace in their lives!  Praise God, for His Good News continues to change lives!

As the calendar turns, we give thanks for the Lord and His unchanging character and truth.  Hebrews 13:8 says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.  Isaiah 40:8 says, The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.  Praise the Lord for these solid anchors in the lives of believers.  As Hebrews 10:23 says, Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.  No matter what 2026 holds for us, we can walk by faith knowing we are held fast by our Heavenly Father.
