Why We Will Give Toward the Vision of Rooted?

Be encouraged by how some Crosspointers have answered the question, ‘Why will you give toward the vision of Rooted?

“In our time as a part of Crosspoint Community Church we have seen children raised to know Jesus and the gospel. We have seen lives transformed from death to new life in Christ. People have been brought into the family of God and others have been sent out, both near and far, to proclaim the good news of new life through Jesus Christ. We have walked with our brothers and sisters though tragedy and we have celebrated joyfully alongside the same family. Through all of the years, the Lord has been faithful and true to his word. We are giving to the vision of Rooted because we trust in the God who created heaven and earth. We trust in the God whose Spirit is at work in the lives of those who call Crosspoint home. We are giving to Rooted because we trust that God will continue to work and bring others into his redeemed family. We have been given new life and all we have is God’s. We give joyfully as we are but stewards of what God has given us. Lord use our humble gifts to glorify your name.”

“We will be giving to the vision of Rooted because we are blessed to be a blessing! We have been blessed by the transforming work of God in our family through the gospel. We have been blessed by the fellowship with His saints in the Church. We have been blessed by the local ministry of Crosspoint and believe in the mission of living 3D – being devoted to God, dedicated to one another, and driven to reach people. And we are blessed to steward God’s resources placed in our care! Everything we have is His, so we count it a great privilege to invest back into His church to enable physical expansion of our facilities for the purpose of spiritual expansion of His kingdom in our community. We have seen God cause the growth physically in numbers and spiritually in hearts over the last 10 years at Crosspoint and we believe that Rooted is His leading in this season for that good work to continue.”

  • “because Jesus is worth it.
  • because God is faithful. He has always provided for His church & He always will & it’s a joy to be invited into that.
  • because everything in heaven and earth belongs to Him anyway – this is His kingdom!
  • because more space means more Gospel opportunities (which is a worthwhile investment).
  • because every little bit helps : ) Each one of us has something to give. Big gifts, small gifts, and everything in between. God works through all of us, collectively (the body of Christ).”

“We will be giving to the vision of Rooted because we believe that the building addition will help us advance the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community.”

“I am eager to give to the vision of Rooted because I believe that giving to our local body, here at Crosspoint, is investing in the Kingdom. Yes, I could invest that money and reap those benefits down the road, but how much more rewarding will it be when I get to heaven and am surrounded by brothers and sisters who were welcomed into the Kingdom of God because there was room for them at Crosspoint.  My family has been blessed beyond measure by Crosspoint. The leadership, friends who have become family, prayers prayed, tears shared, homes opened and our lives forever transformed. We want more people to experience the Gospel lived out like we have because of this body.”

“We feel is important to give to the vision of Rooted because we love God’s church and love the mission of the Gospel. We feel Rooted will further equip the church of “tomorrow”, so that we can better serve the growing need of available classrooms to teach the influx of kids and also have more usable space for groups to meet, study God’s word, and to do ‘life on life’ with one another. We feel this expansion will also help us better serve our mission to reach the community of surrounding towns in the area, and not just here at home in Eureka. We want to continue to be a church that elevates the importance of the Gospel to reach others and help those in need around us.”
