On a weekly basis in our Sunday program, we share evidences of God’s grace and work in the life of Crosspoint and our community. Below, are the evidences (July-September 2026) collected into one post. May these lead us to an attitude of thankfulness to and worship of our God who is at work, not only through us, but in us. Thankful to hear this testimony from a Crosspointer, “God’s Word is speaking like never before, it all hits so different and deeper.” So thankful for how the people of God are seeking to dwell in His Word. Paul wrote this to the Thessalonians, and it is coming to pass in the lives of Crosspointers! Glory to God! 1 Thessalonians 2:13, This is why we constantly thank God, because when you received the word of God that you heard from us, you welcomed it not as a human message, but as it truly is, the word of God, which also works effectively in you who believe.

We’re grateful for the Crosspointers engaged in leading community groups this fall. From those who have been doing it for years, to those who are stepping out and starting new groups, these brothers and sisters are an evidence of His grace. We’re thankful for their faith, hope and love and how they desire to help foster gospel-centered community among brothers and sisters in Christ. And praise God for how people are saying yes to joining into community with one another!

We rejoice at Crosspointer, Asher Zehr, who went public with his faith in Christ through baptism this past Sunday. What a joy to see siblings in Christ seeking to obey all that Jesus taught (Matthew 28:18-20), and publicly testifying to His goodness and grace in their lives! Praise God, for His Good News continues to change lives!

What a blessing the Crosspoint Mowing Team is! For several years now, Crosspoint servants have been sharing the responsibility of mowing and tending to the grounds. We’re grateful for the behind the scenes ways they serve to bless the church and its ministries. They adapt to the weather and the schedules of ministry, and are so faithful in their roles. This summer, the Lord gave us an opportunity to bless Isaiah 55 Ministries in Reynosa, Mexico. The teachers at their school for the deaf were years over due for a tech update. So we purchased 11 new laptops for the teachers. Church, thank you for giving generously toward the Kingdom, creating opportunities such as these where we are blessed to be a blessing.

On August 24, 2003, Crosspoint began gathering weekly on Sunday mornings. We met in the Lakeview shopping center for a few years, and then gathered at Eureka Middle School for 6 years, and then moved to this location in 2012. Thank you Lord, for your kindness and faithfulness, as we celebrate 23 years of your goodness displayed in countless ways! Psalm 115:1, Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory because of your faithful love, because of your truth.

As a new school year is upon us, we are so thankful for the many Crosspointers who have joined in the mission to bring glory to God by making disciples of Jesus of the next generation, through SonChasers (birth-5th grade) and Hype Student Ministries. We thank the Lord for our fellow servants of the Lord who are seeking to equip and prepare the next generation to be devoted to Jesus, dedicated to one another, and driven to reach people, together. During this summer’s VBS, our mission project raised money to help students who attend Isaiah 55’s deaf school in Reynosa, Mexico (a ministry that we support on a monthly basis). Over $1800 was raised (Thank you, Church!), which then covered the cost of five students to attend school ($360/year/student). Praise God for the opportunity to bless others!

We’ve been in a stretch of family services over the summer (SonChasers resumes on August 16). Earlier this year, a Crosspoint family with a little one shared this…”Even though it’s a challenge, we love family service. Getting to praise God with our son in our arms is such a blessing.” It is a gift to gather together as generations in praise of our Father who has joined us as His family. Thank you church family, for how you love, serve and welcome the littlest of Crosspointers in our gatherings!

Kent and Amber Hinrichsen, and their girls, Mabel and Opal are an evidence of God’s grace! We rejoice in the gift of sabbatical that Kent was able to receive and enjoy over the past few months. We’re so thankful for how Kent and Amber love the Lord, love others, and live as ambassadors for Him. Be praying for their ‘reentry’ into ministry in the coming weeks. May the Lord bear fruit, as they continue in a posture that abides and remains in Him and His love.

A Crosspointer recently shared this testimony. “The spiritual growth in our family over the last year is truly amazing. Thankful for our wonderful church body for the support.” Praise God for how He is causing the growth among His people! By His grace, Spirit, Word, and church, He is bringing about salvation and sanctification. Psalm 115:1.

We praise God for how the Lord is enabling His people to endure and worship well, in all circumstances. That even in trial, they are seeking to live out Romans 12:12, Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. And Psalm 61:1-2, I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken.

Praise God for how the Lord continues to sanctify His people! It is a great encouragement to hear stories of followers who are repenting of sin, taking steps of faith, humbly admitting wrong to others, being attentive to the Spirit and the Word of truth. 1 Thess. 5:23, Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
