Why We Give – God is our Creator and Provider

Do I truly trust that God is my provider? Do I truly trust that He will meet my needs? It’s not always easy to write that check, especially when things are tight financially, but it’s freeing to also say “okay Lord, I’m trusting You!” And I can say, for nearly 40 years, that God really is my provider, and He does meet my needs.

Treasuring the Word

I love thinking of Bible study as digging for treasure. When I do, it causes me to think through three things: proper tools, the act of digging, and reflecting on the value of the treasure I find.
