Multiply Prayer Guide
During March, we are calling all Crosspointers to spend intentional time praying for the upcoming launch of our second service. We encourage you to pray together as community groups, families, and as individuals. On Sunday, March 10, we looked at the Lord’s Prayer, and six big areas that Jesus calls us to pray about. Below are some thoughts and verses based around those six areas. Use this as a guide to help lead you in prayer.
Prayers of Worship and Adoration: Our God is great, almighty, and wonderful. All we do is for His glory, honor, and praise. Psalm 115:1, Isaiah 40:28, Jeremiah 10:12-14, Jeremiah 51:15, Revelation 1:8, Revelation 4:11
Prayers for God’s Kingdom to Advance: We want to see the Gospel reach more, and God’s Kingdom spread and impact more and more people. Matthew 6:33, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 9:31, Acts 12:24, Acts 16:5, Acts 19:20, Acts 28:31
Prayers for God’s Will: We want to see God’s will accomplished and our lives aligned with His heart and mission. Psalm 40:7-10, Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 55, Romans 12:2, Ephesians 2:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, 1 Timothy 2:1-6
Prayers for Provision: Our trust is solely in our God to provide and meet our needs as a church. He is forever faithful. Psalm 100:5, Psalm 117:2, Psalm 146:6, Matthew 6:26, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15, Philippians 4:6, 19
Prayers of Confession and Forgiveness: We want to be people who confess sin, walk in the light, and forgive as we have been forgiven. Psalm 103, Proverbs 28:13, Matthew 18:21-35, Mark 11:25, Ephesians 4:29-32, James 5:16, 1 John 1:5-9
