Celebration and Prayer – Sunday, April 13

On Sunday, April 13, we are planning on a special morning together at Crosspoint, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Prior to the service, from 9:00-9:30, we will be having a prayer walk.  What is a prayer walk?  It is an opportunity to pray at various stations and areas around the Crosspoint building.  We will have prayer guides available that will help lead you in praying for the several Crosspoint ministries, our leadership, and the vision that God has called us to.  So you can walk throughout the building as either an individual or as a couple/family and pray quietly or silently, at your own pace, and in your own order.  We won’t be organizing groups or necessarily having organized prayer at the stations.  We simply want to create space on a Sunday morning for us to pray, and talk to our Father in Heaven.

SonChasers will be set up, so you can pray over classrooms and for the children that fill them.  You can walk the office, and pray over and for the staff that works there.  You can pray for HYPE and the students and leaders that fill the building every Wednesday.  You can pray for our 3D Community Groups, our Sunday mornings in the Living Room, and our missionaries and mission efforts.  You can pray for those who walk in our doors that they would be forever changed by the love and truth of Jesus.  You can pray for the volunteers and staff who serve throughout the building AND beyond it.  The beautiful thing is that we can pray for a lot of things, and the Lord invites us to do so.

Then from 9:30-10:00, we’ll have donuts available, and be showing the video from the Isaiah 55 Missions Trip, which is full of pictures from the trip and the work the team was involved in.  This will be a great opportunity to fellowship and build relationships with those you know, and those you don’t know yet.  SonChasers registration will be kicking off at its regular time (approximately 9:40am).

Then at 10:00, our service in the Living Room will start.  We’ll sing and worship.  We’ll celebrate baptisms.  We’ll hear some stories from the Isaiah 55 Missions Team about how God changed and used them on the trip.  We’ll celebrate what God has done over the past 3 years of the NEXT campaign, and we’ll also be reminded of the vision and mission that Jesus has called us to at Crosspoint.  We can’t forget why we are here and what He has called us to.

So why get to the Crosspoint building an hour early on Sunday?  Because prayer changes things.  Because our great God invites us and asks us to pray to Him.  Because we are called to follow Jesus together and to be a part of one body and one mission.  Because people matter.  As a church, we long to see God do great things for His glory, and that begins with us in prayer and relationship with one another.

See you Sunday!
